Our 2019 Shelter Summer Institute will take place in & around Roanoke, VA with morning lectures at the Roanoke Higher Education Center and afternoon hands-on learning at shelters in the surrounding Roanoke area

Roanoke Higher Education Center is just a short 5-minute walk from Hotel Roanoke. Transport to/from shelters will be provided by ISD

Afternoon hands-on learning will take place at shelters near Roanoke and the surrounding area, including the Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection (RCACP), Roanoke Valley SPCA, and the Montgomery County Animal Care & Adoption Center
